Projects with Schools

To be ready for the future, you need to study and gain experience!

To connect students with the metalworking industry, we organize a range of activities tailored to specific needs and suitable for different age groups and fields of study.

Here are some of the initiatives we offer to schools, universities, technical industrial and vocational institutes, and ITS programs:

Company Meet-and-Greet Days

Target: High Schools

We organize “speed dates” between students and local companies, featuring 10-minute interviews.

This format offers students their first job interview experience while allowing companies to connect with future technicians and promote awareness of the metalworking sector.

These meetings foster dialogue and collaboration, strengthening school-business relationships and highlighting career opportunities in the industry.

Events with Experts and Companies

Target: High Schools

These events help students navigate the sector by introducing key players, facilitating interaction with companies, and providing targeted interviews and educational workshops to enhance their understanding.

Evenings for Families and Students

Target: Middle Schools

Orientation evenings with experts and industry companies to engage students and their families, typically aimed at middle school students.

STEAM Week

Objective: Inspire young students to engage with technology and develop a passion for STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics).

Throughout the week, educators, experts, companies, and professionals coordinated by COMET lead workshops on mechanics, coding, robotics, automation, home automation, mechanical design, electromechanics, electronics, and sustainability.

Guided Tours During the School Year

We organize company visits to bridge the gap between schools and businesses that may have had little prior interaction.

Objective: Educate, guide, and facilitate meaningful connections between entrepreneurs and students.

Guided Tours at Trade Fairs

During trade fairs, we organize guided tours of exhibitor company stands, providing students with direct exposure to the industry.

We introduce students to companies, allowing businesses to share insights on industry evolution, innovations, and essential skills.

To make the experience more engaging, we also host games and quizzes, offering a dynamic and interactive way to connect with the sector.

Participation in Regional Skill Fairs

We attend fairs focused on schools to help students deepen their understanding of the mechanical and manufacturing sectors.

Our involvement includes presentations, video interviews, and more.

Initiatives for Individual Schools

We support schools and institutes in acquiring materials or machinery to enhance teaching and training for young students.
